Birthday Celebration for
His Majesty Charles III

The members of DBE in Kansas and their guests were invited to attend a Birthday Celebration for His Majesty Charles III on June 9th. Food included tea sandwiches and other savouries brought by our DBE chapters with LNA supplying Strawberries and Cream for everyone to enjoy. There was also a birthday cake and punch. We toasted the King with several "Here Here's". Lynda Krupp gave a speech detailing the interesting life of His Majesty focusing on his work with environmental issues. Guest Victoria Hackworth won the amazing raffle basket that was given away with ticket proceeds going to DBE Kansas's 60th Anniversary event. Years of Service pins were awarded to DBE members: Clare Stamara for 5 years and Debbie Holladay & Jerri Carmack for 25 years. It was a fun day filled with delicious food and fun festivities!
