Volunteer
The annual British Faire and Tea hosted by the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) offers a delightful opportunity for volunteers from outside organizations, students seeking service hours, and individuals passionate about British culture to contribute and participate in a cherished tradition.

Here are a few ways to get involved:

Event Setup on Friday:
Volunteers can assist with setting up booths, tables, and decorations before the event. This may include arranging seating areas, hanging banners, and preparing the ambiance to reflect the charm of the British Faire.

Entertainment:
Enthusiastic volunteers can participate in various entertainment aspects of the faire, such as performing traditional British music or dance.
Tea Service:
The tea service is often a highlight of the event. Volunteers can assist in serving tea, sandwiches, scones, and pastries to guests. They may also help replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

Cleanup and Tear Down:
After the event concludes, volunteers play a crucial role in cleaning up the venue and dismantling equipment and decorations. This includes clearing tables and disposing of waste responsibly.

Through their dedicated efforts, volunteers contribute to the success of the British Faire and Tea, fostering a sense of community spirit and preserving the rich cultural heritage celebrated by the Daughters of the British Empire.
